City Experience

In this elective students will be given different topics in which we will study for a couple weeks. During the semester, students will go on two excursions and on those excursions they will be given time to explore the city and complete activities given by the teachers. All of these skills will be applied to the three CAT’s (Common Assessment Tasks) that we do throughout the semester. 

 

In my group, I had Dimitra, Dion and Mia. We worked great as a team and we were incredibly collaborative. We all worked together on our tourist places but we all had our strengths which we applied to the task. Due to coronavirus we were unable to complete the video section of the task (which is why I will mention the scripts we wrote). Dimitra researched and wrote about the Crown towers and a bit of hosier lane. I worked on researching the Yarra River and collecting information to write the script for it. Mia did amazing work on researching the state library and finishing off all the aspects we couldn’t. Dion wrote about NGV and the script for that. Our group worked very efficiently and got the group work done as good as we possibly could.
